INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA OF USERS OF THE FACEBOOK FANPAGE OF ROMAEST SHOPPING CENTER
PURSUANT TO REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”)
Dear User, we are pleased to welcome you to the Facebook fanpage of RomaEst Shopping Center.
Herewith, in accordance with the provisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union ruling C-210/16 of June 5, 2018 (“Court”), we inform you about the processing of personal data carried out during your visit to our Facebook fanpage (“FB”) and your interaction with it.
We clarify that Facebook "fanpages" are user accounts that can be created on Facebook by individuals or businesses to share and spread communications and connect and interact with social network users and mere page visitors.
The Court clarified that the processing of personal data of visitors to Facebook "fanpages" is essentially carried out by Facebook, through the installation of persistent cookies (lasting 2 years) on the devices of users visiting the page (which allow monitoring), in order to improve its advertising system.
Facebook Inc., and for the European Union, Facebook Ireland, are Data Controllers as they mainly determine the purposes and means of processing the personal data of Facebook users, as well as of the visitors to fanpages on Facebook.

The administrator of a fanpage (in this case, Klépierre Management and the Consorzio degli Operatori del Centro Commerciale Roma Est), through the "Facebook Insights" function provided by Facebook, receives only anonymous and aggregated statistical data about the visitors to their fanpage, information generated exclusively by Facebook based on certain parameters set by the administrator, who is therefore also considered a Data Controller.
